Mark Gentry

Chief Executive Officer/Owner

Mark has over 20 years of technical direction and scenic design experience. He graduated from University of North Carolina School of the Arts in 1993 with a degree in Technical Direction.

Todd King

Chief Operating Officer/Owner

Todd has over 20 years of experience in themed scenic experience and has worked on many scenic and permanent installations across the country. His range of skills and product knowledge help him to successfully lead our Production teams. Todd joined Bungalow in May of 2016.

Joe Lakman

Chief Financial Officer

A graduate of University of Central Florida, Joe has 18 years of financial management under his belt. He is a Certified Public Accountant and is an integral part of the team here at Bungalow.

Colin Murphy

Owner

Colin has over 20 years of experience creating scenic solutions. He has formed and managed scenic design organizations supporting the entertainment industry and corporate meetings. Colin was educated in Theater Design and Management at the North Carolina School of the Arts.

Lisa Taylor

HR Director

Lisa has more than 30 years of experience in the corporate world, including various management positions and HR.  A graduate of the University of Central Florida, she has earned her Master’s in Management - HR and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology.  She is a champion of culture and has a passion for building relationships to promote the success of team players and the company.  Lisa enjoys giving back to the community by supporting efforts to raise awareness of mental health, animal welfare, and homelessness.

Charlene Williams

Sales Manager

Charlene joined the Bungalow team in 2017, when she began working with Bungalow as a Sales Assistant/Executive Assistant. She has supported and worked closely with each member of the sales team, as well as the owners, to ensure all clients’ expectations are met. Charlene has a B.S. in Operations Management and an A.A. in Business Information Systems. She has accumulated over 15 years of experience in the administrative field, ranging from hotels and entertainment industries, to construction companies.

Lauren Hatfield-Day

Business Development/Marketing Manager

Born and raised in Central Florida, Lauren has built industry strong relationships within the themed entertainment market. Her industry focus and interest lie at the intersection of consumer, technical, and entertainment production. With years of sales, marketing, and account management skills, her customer relationships range across the state of Florida and throughout the United States.

Scott Angelacos

Account Manager

Scott has been with Bungalow since the beginning, working in fabrication and design. With a wide ranging portfolio including game show sets, theme parks, music, television, as well as corporate events, he uses his knowledge and experience to make sure his clients design intents are met in budget.

Dave Harman

Account Manager

Originally from Southern CA, Dave has been with Bungalow since 2011. He began his career with Bungalow as the Paint Department Lead. He previously worked as a freelance Scenic Artist, and managed a silkscreen shop. Dave primarily works in the Themed Entertainment industry.

Nataly Sedler

Account Manager

Nataly was born and raised in Tampa, Florida. She spent 13 years in education and then transitioned into the 3D marketing and theming industry. Joining Bungalow with experience in the theming industry, Nataly will be using her knowledge in sales and account management to be sure all client needs are met. Nataly has a passion for all things creative and fun and working with Bungalow allows her to help others execute their creative visions.

 

Madie Hannon

Show Estimator

Madie has 8+ years of experience in theatrical operations and themed entertainment. Originally trained as a carpenter, she graduated with a B.F.A. in Design and Production from UNCSA. Madie has been a part of the Bungalow team since 2018 when she began working with Bungalow during a professional internship. Since then, she has worked in both the metal and carpentry departments before moving to join the sales team as an estimator in 2021.

Craig Johnson

Show Estimator

Craig has been a multi-talented member of the Bungalow family for over 5 years, bringing to the table a vast skill set in carpentry, scenic, sculpting, metal, special effects, electrical, and install. A native of Orlando, Craig has worked in the industry for more than 25 years and his resume boasts a wide range of clientele in both television and the theme park industry, domestically, as well as abroad. Having successfully been a lead in carpentry, an on site superintendent, and a production manager here at Bungalow, Craig has now found his home in sales.

Nicholas Tarr

Show Estimator

With a background in themed construction, structural fabrication, and design, Nicholas has had the opportunity to work on many creative projects in varying phases, from concept to installation. Starting his career in fabrication, and gaining experience in design, project management, and more, Nicholas is an all-around creative problem solver with over 20 years of experience in themed fabrication. Nicholas is a skilled designer, fabricator, and artist, with a passion for creative problem-solving.

Aaron Barkley

Project Manager

Aaron has over 15 years of cumulative experience in themed entertainment design and technical direction. His background is in Touring Productions, Cruise Ship Entertainment design and operation, Themed Entertainment design, and most recently, Theme Park facility and scenic Technical Direction. In his down time, Aaron loves being on the water and spending time with his dogs

Kevin Colborne

Project Manager

Kevin majored at Fine Arts and Education at Florida State and UCF. His career has focused on custom fabrication of engineering prototypes, museum quality aerospace and military replicas, design and production of trade show exhibits and permanent high-end mill work installations.

Rachel Colbert

Project Manager

With over 10 years of experience working in the corporate and live events field, Rachel has developed a variety of skills in logistics, scheduling, accounting, and project management. Rachel joined Bungalow as a Project Manager in 2016.

Amanda Gimbel

Project Coordinator

Amanda received a B.A. in Theatre Design/Technology from CNU, continuing her education by graduating from the Cobalt Studios Scenic Artist Training Program. She spent almost 5 years working as a scenic artist in various cities, eventually taking on the role of Paint Coordinator for Bungalow’s Scenic, Paint, Fiber Glass, and Automotive Paint departments. Utilizing the skills she developed by managing multiple departments, and her experience in and around the shop, Amanda ultimately transitioned into a Project Coordinator within Bungalow’s Project Management team.

Peter Langlois

Project Manager

In addition to a B.S. in Legal Studies and an A.A. in Music Business and Production, Peter has over two decades of experience in entertainment production and events. He has done everything from being a roadie, sound tech, and professional musician, to working in management in varying fields. For the last 6 years he has been working as a sales and project manager for the corporate event industry. His lifelong experience in live events aids him in producing everything from concerts to corporate general sessions.

John LoperaProject ManagerWith a bachelor degree in Hospitality Management, John has been in the event industry for over 9 years and joined Bungalow Scenic as the warehouse manager in 2013.

CJ Santos

Project Manager

CJ started with Bungalow Scenic in 2017 as an installer before joining the sales team as a Corporate Estimator. Before starting his exciting journey at Bungalow, CJ worked in residential construction, and his varying experiences have helped him garner a wealth of knowledge that he brings to his new position. He is known to his friends and family as a true jack-of-all-trades.

Jeff WardProject ManagerJeff has over 20 years of experience in metal fabrication with most of that time spent in theme park/ scenic work. He has produced everything from landspeeders to merchandise kiosks to bank safes. Outside of the shop, Jeff is involved in music production, his metal art, and dogs.

Ronnie Carrington

Carpentry Manager

Ronnie is originally from Bridgetown Barbados. He found his passion for building and fabrication at the age of 8 landing his first job in upholstery. At the age of 16, Ronnie came to America and shortly thereafter began his career as a carpenter. Ronnie joined the Bungalow team in 2014 and was quickly recognized for his positive attitude, work ethic and leadership skills.

Israel DunkinPaint ManagerIsrael aka “Izzy” started at Bungalow in 2014 as a scenic painter. As the painting department expanded, Izzy became Bungalow’s corporate painting lead. In his spare time, he likes to fish and ride his motorcycle.

Dakota EllisonProduction CoordinatorWith over 10 years experience in the industry, Dakota worked 7 years as an Installation Superintendent, Lead Fabricator, and Carpenter building and leading, fabrication and install teams over a wide array of themed entertainment, attraction, and corporate projects. With 10+ years in the industry, he has helped build various projects around the world. He has also helped several companies streamline their 3D to FRP processes. Joseph owns several 3D printers and is constantly making Warhammer 40K stuff when not in the shop.

Chris Flowers

Accounts Receivable/Payable Manager

Chris has 8 years of experience working in the accounting field. He graduated from Kaplan University in 2014 with a Bachelors degree in accounting. Chris joined Bungalow about a year ago.

Erin Hodges

Design Manager

Erin joined the Bungalow team in 2017 with more than 25 years of experience in graphic design, illustration, and scenic design. With a degree in Visual Communication, her professional work experience includes Dance, Theatre, Broadcast News, Tradeshow Design and Themed and Corporate Event Design.

Shane JuddScenic ManagerShane was born and raised in Orlando Florida. His background is illustration, painting, and building classic cars/motorcycles. He has 15 years of experience in scenic theming, working on some of the largest projects in the theme parks. He has almost 30 years construction and fabrication experience with a background in many different trades and professions

Ivan Montanez

Warehouse Manager

Ivan Montanez, born and raised in Puerto Rico, has 20 years of warehouse experience with large-volume companies such as Budweiser, Bimbo, Whirlpool, and Harley Davidson. Ivan specializes in team building and performance optimization, and outside of work, enjoys riding horses or jet-skiing in his free time.

Luis Rijo

Technical Design Manager

Luis has 4 years of experience in the scenic industry and over 2 years of experience in the engineering and construction industry. Being fully Bilingual in English and Spanish, Luis graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. He has helped lead the construction of different projects, ranging from multi-level buildings to 5-star resorts in the Caribbean. Luis joined the Bungalow team in 2021, where he collaborates with the CAD team, focusing on technical design.

Dean Russamano

Executive Manager of Install, Warehouse, and Logistics

Dean has over 18 years of experience in the event and production industry. By working as an installer with local production companies, as well as a Foreman within the carpenters’ union, he has gained a wide range of skills in warehouse management and onsite relations. Dean particularly enjoys working on the logistics that tie everything together, bringing all departments together as one and running smoothly.

Chris Serrano

Fiberglass/Automotive Manager

Chris has been in the fiberglass and automotive industry for over 10 years. Joining Bungalow in 2016, Chris has helped to grow both departments, he is now team lead. On the weekends, you can find Chris on the water either jet skiing or fishing.

Janet Soto

Payroll Manager

Originally from Boston, MA, Janet has over 15 years of experience in Finance and Accounting. Fluent in English and Spanish her experience has led her to work with the most prestigious financial institutions and successful scenic design industries.

Warren Almodovar

Graphic Lead

Warren has almost a decade of experience in graphic design and installation. Before that, he did ten years of federal service. He loves and is passionate about art, video games, and music.

Mark Carrington

Corporate Carpentry Lead

Mark started learning basic carpentry skills at a young age, building houses in Bridgetown, Barbados. Throughout his life he found his passion in woodwork and carpentry by working on personal projects outside of formal work settings. Mark joined Bungalow in 2018, and has continued to grow his passion and skills within the industry.

Cody Conley

Metal Lead

Cody began his career in metal work through an apprenticeship nearly 10 years ago, keeping his passion for the work alive through his love of the creative process and problem-solving involved. With his experience in fabrication and well-rounded knowledge of TIG and MIG welding, Cody offers a vast amount of skills and talents to the varying projects he encounters at Bungalow. 

James Covington

Themed Carpentry Lead

As a third-generation Floridian, James has been surrounded by products of the scenic and theming industries his entire life, and has been working with his hands for as far back as he can remember. James brings a unique and thorough perspective to Bungalow's carpentry department, utilizing the skills he developed in his previous career in the custom skatepark industry, and more than a decade of experience as a leather worker.

Melissa Downing

Scenic Paint Lead

Melissa was born and raised in Orlando, FL by a Disney-loving family. Frequenting theme parks from a young age, she fell in love with the immersive environments and knew that one day she wanted to help create the magic. Melissa started her career in construction project management catering to high-profile clients and coordinating new builds and remodels. In 2018, her passion for painting and furniture restoration introduced her to scenic painting where she has honed her skillset in faux finishing, murals, trompe l’oeil, and automotive paint.

TJ Keenan

Metal Lead

TJ has over 12 years of experience in metal fabrication and welding within the themed entertainment industry. He especially appreciates working on the layout and logistic parameters of his work, while in his free time, the Florida native enjoys music and playing his guitar.

Jaime Espasas

CNC Lead

Jaime started working in the themed entertainment industry as an Installer at convention centers, working on tradeshow booths. This gave him critical experience in heavy equipment operations and a sturdy mechanical background. He dove into the CNC world after joining the team at Bungalow, and by being a quick learner and reliable worker, has worked himself up to being the current Lead of the department.

Amirali (Steve) Haghayegh

Electrical Lead

Steve joins Bungalow with 23 years of experience with electronics, computers, automation, and lighting. With that he brings a passion to fabricate and create electronic oddities and spectacular lighting displays across all genres of themed events.

Marian Jones

Design Lead

Marian first started with Bungalow as an intern in the Scenic Design department in 2018, before joining the company full time upon graduation. With a B.A. in English and her B.F.A. in Design and Technology, Marian has experience in designing for Theatre, Corporate Events, Tradeshows, and various large-scaled Themed events.

Sean Olsen

3D Modeling/Kuka Lead

Sean has his B.A. in Fine Art from Cardiff University in South Wales and has been passionate about all forms of art his whole life. After graduating he worked as a freelance sculptor, incorporating programmable electronics into metal and wooden structures, winning some awards and showing in solo and group shows around Wales. Sean moved from Wales to Orlando in 2015 and has worked in multiple roles in the scenic industry since 2016. Mostly learning on the job from his various leads and managers, he moved from Electrical and Technical Design, to 3D Modeling and 7 axis milling using the KUKA system.

George Politis

IT/Software Lead

George has over 25 years of experience in software architecture and development. He has designed and built software for companies ranging in size from 2 person start-ups to Fortune 100 firms before coming to Bungalow in June of 2018.  In his free time, George enjoys traveling with his wife and volunteering at Pet Alliance of Greater Orlando.

Luis "Fernando" Sarmiento

Technical Design Lead

Luis discovered his love of design as an undergraduate student, earning his Bachelor’s Degree in industrial design. He began his design career working on various projects, ranging from museum exhibits to apparel brands, to television sets. Luis moved to Orlando and began working in scenic design in 2020, while spending his free time enjoying fishing, biking, and playing with his power tools.
